Monday 1/20 at 0839 The Christiana Fire Company was dispatched to the area of Smyrna Road and Buck Run Road for a vehicle accident-standby. Deputy 52 arrived on scene with one vehicle, on its side, in a creek with one patient still inside. This upgraded the call to an entrapment adding Rescue 42 for additional support.
Engine 52 arrived shortly after and worked at stabilization of the vehicle and putting ladders down to get down the snow covered bank prior to extraction. Within minutes the door was popped and the patient was extricated. Thankfully there were no injuries.
