January 17 at 2314 the Christiana Fire Company and mutual aid was dispatched to Williams Run Road in Sadsbury township for a dwelling fire. Deputy 52 arrived with a single family dwelling with fire showing from the Charlie side. Engine 52-1 arrived assuming the first due engine assignment, split laying the 1400’ driveway and stretching an attack line through the front door. Tanker 52 arrived closely after taking the second due engine assignment, completing the lay and stretching an additional attack line to a door on the Delta side. The incident was placed under control at 0026. Thanks to Union Fire Company (Chester 21) and Keystone Valley Fire Department (Chester 08) for relocating to our station while we operated the incident.
