At 05:56 this morning, the engine company was dispatched for a standby - transfer to Chester County, Station 22 ( West Grove )while they handled a working dwelling fire in their first due area. As engine 521 ( Capt. Stoltzfus ) was entering the Borough of West Grove, Old School House Road Command requested 2 additional engine companies for extra man power. Engine 521 made the response with crew of Five, arriving on location at 06:35. Crew members - Capt. Stoltzfus, Lt. Vandenbosch, FF Lowry and FF Kendig were sent to division 2 for fire suppression. Command placed the fire under control at 07:11 hours with several hours of overhaul. Station 52 crew cleared the incident & returning at 09:46.
