Station 5-2 vollies were alerted as part of a box assignment at 5153 Mine Road for a reported mobile home fire at 17:19 hours.
Lancaster County 911 advised on dispatch that a caller phoned in saying that they believed there to be a single wide mobile home on fire, possibly from the extension of a trash fire nearby.
Chief 5-2 (Reimold) marked enroute at 17:22 hours with Deputy 4-2 arriving on the scene at 17:23 hours. Engine 5-2-1 (Fisher) went responding at 17:24 hours with a crew of 6 as well as Tanker 5-2-1 (Lofgren) with a crew of 3. Tanker 5-2-2 (Buckwalter) followed at 17:27 hours with a crew of 2.
At the time that Tanker 5-2-2 made their response, the incident commander held the call to Engine 4-2-2 and Tanker 5-2-1. All other units were recalled and made available at 17:27 hours.
Tanker 5-2-1 remained on the scene to assist with extinguishing of a small trash fire. Tanker 5-2-1 cleared the scene and available at 17:31 hours.
