At 00:56, Station 52 was dispatched for a 2nd Alarm barn fire assist to Station 57 ( Quarryville ) in East Drumore Township. Engine-Tanker 52 ( Capt. Stoltzfus )quickly responded with a crew of 8. Chief 572 arrived on scene with a 50' x 100' structure fully involved with exposures. Upon arrival at 01:20 Engine-Tanker 52 was placed into the water supply while the crew went forward for fire suppression. Total water delivered to the scene was 10,000 gallons. At 03:24 Command 57 placed the incident under control, at which time Engine-Tanker 52 was released from the scene.
