Tuesday, February 20, 2018
Today at 11:05 AM, Station 52 was alerted for Engine-Tanker 52 for the relocate to Station 57 ( Quarryville ) while they assisted Station 58 ( Rawlinsville ) with a Dwelling fire at 311 Bethesda Church Road in Martic Township. Prior to responding Tanker 58 reported heavy smoke from a mile out , requesting the " working fire dispatch ". As E/T 52 was in route to Quarryville the 2nd Alarm assignment was dispatched. At 11:15 AM, LCWC advised to respond to the scene. Arriving on location @ 11:38, E/T 52 joined numerous other tankers on Route 372 for the water supply while Capt. Stoltzfus and crew went forward to assist on scene, going right to work on division 2 with overhaul. Station 52 cleared the scene at 12:26.
