At 0800hrs Sunday morning, company 52 was being alerted for the full company assist on a Building Fire assignment at 956 Fallowfield Road in West Fallowfield Township, Chester County.

Engine 52-1 (Captain Stoltzfus) streeted moments later with a crew of 6 followed by Tanker 52-2 (FF Buckwalter), Tanker 52-1 (Deputy Fisher) with 6 and Squad 52-1. Engine 52-1 entered the long drive on arrival sending manpower to assist initial attack crews from Cochranville fire. While water supply was getting connections made, the engine crew stretched a line from Engine 1 controlling the a/b corner of the fire building and minimizing extension into an attached greenhouse structure. Crews advanced into the main fire building until engine 1’s water supply was depleted. Tanker 52-2 was placed in service as a nurse tanker at the end of the drive while Tanker 1 sent its crew into the scene and shuttled several loads of water.

Christiana crews worked along side Cochranville, Gap, Keystone and multple other departments for several hours on overhaul and mop up before finally returning to station at 1030hrs.
