At 1847hrs Sunday evening, Christiana volunteers were alerted for a mutual aid assist building fire at 5433 Buena Vista Road in Gap, Salisbury Township. Crews from Gap, White Horse and Kinzers were dispatched several minutes prior on a report of fire involving a horse barn and shop at that location. Units arrived soon after to confirm the report and requested a 2nd alarm be hit for additional resources.

As part of the 2nd alarm, Christiana members fielded Tanker 52-2, Tanker 52-1, Engine 52-1, Squad 52-1 and Brush 52-1 for the response. CFC tankers arrived and immediately began supplying water to the scene while crews reported to the manpower staging area. 52 crews worked suppression and overhaul for several hours before being released at 2116hrs.
