Saturday started out with many members gathering at the hall to set up for our annual Sportsman's Extravaganza and Block Shoot. Many members arrived early and stayed late because of the many activities. Plastered somewhere in the middle of setting up and the actual event, 52 was hit out for two fires both in Chester County. A 1522hr dispatch for a Woods fire to 537 Lenover Road in West Fallowfield had Brush 52 and Tanker 43 (our event transfer/cover unit for Tanker 52-1) respond for a reported 1 acre woods assist to Cochranville fire. Crews worked for just over 1hr before returning back to station.

The second run of the day (1753hrs) took Brush 52 and Tanker 43 on a Brush run to 5155 Strasburg Road in West Sadsbury Chester County, assisting Keystone Valley Fire. Units worked and were back to station 52 within an hour.
