Christiana members were alerted just after 0630hrs Thursday morning for a Pumper Tanker relocate to Avondale Fire (station 23), Chester County. Kennett Square, Longwood, Avondale and several other Chesco companies were all out on a working house fire at 417 Red Clay Drive in Kennett Township.

Tanker 52-1 marked enroute several minutes after dispatch with 6 personnel. Within minutes of the transfer response, fire command was asking for additional Tankers to report to the scene. The alert went out to T52-1 to change the response to an emergency rate and report to the fire scene on Red Clay Drive. Tanker 52-1 arrived and sent SCBA compliant personnel to the Man-Power Staging while others remained with the apparatus to handle water supply shuttle duties.

Members worked several hours on the assist before picking up and heading back to Lancaster County around 1025hrs.
