Tuesday morning at 06:35hrs Christiana Fire was alerted for a Pumper Tanker assist to Chester County, 1640 Newark Road in London Grove for a Hay Bales fire assisting Avondale Fire Company, station 23. Avondale personnel along with other Chesco units were operating a large Hay Bale fire at that location. Tanker 52-1 was enroute minutes later with a crew of 5 personnel. Tanker 52-1 arrived as third tanker on the scene at 07:02hrs assisting crews on the scene until released at 11:02hrs.
